Bird Wines
THEY DID IT THEIR WAY
With a lifetime of experience in eating, drinking and breathing wine making, Steve Bird sold his previous successful winery venture, but his love of the industry saw Steve and his wife Carolyn back again, and this time doing it exactly how they wanted, and having fun every step of the way.
Bird Wines is very much a family business and with a strong emphasis on family values, Steve has built a company more than capable of being passed on to the next generation. He has also, in a short amount of time, developed a strong following, especially from North America where most of his wine is exported.
Steve has an undeniable dedication and passion for wine making. There is no doubt that the quality of his wine is impressive, however he hasn’t achieved what he has by following others in the industry. Yes, his wine is good but it’s also a natural extension of his and his family’s personality and we ensure his packaging and marketing reflects this, in dispersed with humour, based firmly on the ground in New Zealand.
