Like a lot of industries much has happened since then but AFFCO is still an exporter of premium New Zealand meat and processes more than 150,000 tonnes every year with a turnover in excess of 1 billion NZ Dollars. New Zealand has a lot to offer the rest of the world and our image and reputation is very attractive to an international audience. However, as our location is so far away from some of our biggest markets, exporters need to maintain superior quality in both product and marketing to guarantee success. AFFCO is true blue New Zealand and their new identity, packaging and trade marketing reflects their legacy and the intense pride that personifies rural New Zealand.
