Having worked with Deutz in the past – and
with a wide range of other premium wine brands – we loved designing Deutz Rosé.
Starting with existing Deutz brand values of vitality, excellence, New Zealand style, European Heritage and confidence, Angela McFetridge and her design team added unique Rosé brand values such as femininity, elegance and sophistication to the current Deutz packaging. Dusky pink, antique tea and gold tones were introduced – and a flower, inspired by the iconic Mt Cook Lily, was placed subtly in the background of the label to convey the femininity of Rosé.
Working closely with Deutz brand manager Lisa Squires, the strong black box behind the Deutz brand name was dropped in favour of colouring the brand name a distinct shade of cerise to complement the Rosé colours. A bold move away from the existing Deutz range but key to differentiate the unique Rosé style.
Deutz Rosé was launched at the end of September with a spectacular event at Pasha, Princes Wharf.
