Formerly known as CONCH. 'wave' is dedicated to our clients, the projects we’ve worked on together and the benefits that smart marketing, branding and advertising deliver.
At WAVE we always look forward to creating our client Christmas gifts. Not only do we love getting involved in the Christmas spirit but we also love the opportunity to thank our valued clients for the projects they have given us and the relationships we have developed throughout the year.
Regardless of the season it’s always a great idea to take the time to say thanks. It really is the thought that counts and because we are known for the premium brands we work with, a gift that was specifically crafted and totally unique was the least we could do.
In a challenging economic environment some companies were tempted not to send Christmas gifts this year and as a result missed a brilliant marketing opportunity. The true value of a good gift is not in the monetary value of the contents but in the creativity and personal attention put into it.
The brief for our latest gift was to showcase our skills in brand development, design and packaging. We also aimed to create a gift that could be enjoyed with family or friends and create a buzz, initially when they were delivered and secondly when they were taken home and used.
The WAVE sustainability policy called for a gift that had real value, could be reused during the year and required minimum packaging. Because all gifts were hand delivered there was no need for secondary packaging and using the apron pockets to house the contents required only a simple corrugated card wrap held together with the apron straps.
We also like to showcase some of the premium client brands we have worked on during the year by featuring the results of our work which wasn’t difficult this year when they included AFFCO and Grove Avocado Oil.
Another reason we look forward to this project is that we get to involve the whole company in the creative process and the production of the gifts. It’s a great way to build up to Christmas and we’re already looking forward to next one.
